My name is Jamie Davis. I am currently a professional tennis coach with a professional playing background in the sport. I was a former Top 10 player in South Africa on the TSA circuit in both singles and doubles from the Under-12 age group through to Under-18. I won over 20 TSA tournaments during this time. I achieved a career-high ranking of 604 in the ITF Junior world rankings, as well as professional rankings of 2291 in singles and 1870 in doubles on the ATP circuit. My highest UTR rating as a player was 11.7. I competed at the highest level in international junior tournaments, ITF Futures events, and ATP Challenger tournaments across Southern Africa, Northern Africa, the United States, and Spain.

I have been a tennis coach for four years and worked under Riaan Venter at the Riaan Venter Tennis Academy at the High Performance Centre at North-West University. I have coached players ranging in age from 3 to 54 years old on grass, hard, and clay courts. Under the Play Tennis South Africa brand, I coached an average of 180–210 players per week across all levels and age groups. I was also involved in the high-performance system at the University of Potchefstroom, which included three national champions, two Fed Cup players, and a total of six Top 10 South African players.

I founded JDTA in June 2023 with the vision of developing high-performance players and tennis champions from Boskruin, while also growing the game of tennis within the Boskruin community across all ages and levels of play.
